Ethical Business Practice

We can move any wheeled (rolling) cargo for you, like plant machinery or tow-able industrial equipment, subject to dimensions and weight. In some instances we need to know what the ground clearance is as well, as these will usually be shipped using the RoRo method.

20 FT or 40FT containerized shipping:

Machinery is loaded and secured in the container to prevent any movement during transit. Containers are loaded to only carry your machinery and are only opened once they reach the destination port.
We have 4 sailings a month, subject to schedule, from Southampton to Australia. We can offer shipments to Brisbane, Port Kembla, Melbourne and Fremantle, but if there is somewhere else your machinery needs to get to we can look into alternative options for you, maybe using transshipments.
If you would prefer to ship your cargo in 20ft or 40ft containers we can arrange that for you – again, subject to the dimensions of the machinery. It takes around 40 days to get to Australia from Southampton, although this can vary slightly in either direction depending on factors such as weather, port congestion and which port your vehicle is going to in Australia.

Additional Information

Please ensure that rules, regulations and any pre-shipment requirements are met before you arrange the shipment with us. We can’t get involved with those ourselves, but the Australian Embassy should be able to advise you or point you in the right direction.

This is very important to sort out as we will not be responsible for any charges arising if the cargo does not have relevant permissions for import into Australia. If you have any questions regarding our service or if you are unsure about anything, please let us know and we will do our best to clarify the procedure for you.
