-Used Vehicles require a pre-shipment inspection by Intertek

-Individuals with more than $500’s in imports require an import license. An import license shows: the country of origin of the product, the city of embarkation and debarkation, and the amount and currency of payment.

-If your imports exceed $500 the following documents are needed:

-Commercial invoice: Two copies needed, has all info on the export including, specific description, quantity,value and even weight of the goods.

-Bill of lading: Shows the name of shipper and consignee, port of destination, description of goods, and other charges.

-Pro Forma Invoice: Three copies are required and the chamber of commerce must certify one.

These forms are needed to apply for an import license.

-Certificate of origin: If this is required the chamber of commerce must authenticate it.

-Other documents that might be needed for importing include: The packing list, cargo release order,

customs import declaration, delivery order, Inspection report from scanner, pre-shipment inspection clean report and findings, and terminal handling receipts.
